Amnesty Aids Those Who Avoided Tax With Offshore Arrangements

Graham - On Jan. 14, the Internal Revenue Service announced a partial amnesty designed to provide an opportunity for taxpayers who have avoided taxation through foreign arrangements outside the United States to disclose their activities to the IRS and limit their exposure to some penalties. This partial amnesty is called the "Offshore Voluntary Compliance Initiative."
