Condemned Man Loses Another Bid to Stay Execution But Gets Some Hope

After a Marin County judge refused to halt the scheduled execution Wednesday of Albert Greenwood Brown Jr., Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger delayed the execution by 45 hours.

SAN RAFAEL - After a Marin County Superior Court judge refused to halt the execution of a condemned prisoner who had been scheduled to be put to death on Wednesday, Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger stepped into the fray with an order delaying the execution by 45 hours.
