SAN FRANCISCO - Note to new dads: Make sure you're the real father before you start spending like one. In a case of first impression, a state appellate court has ruled that a man who helped take care of a child he thought was his own for 21/2 years has no right to sue to reclaim his expenses after discovering he was not the biological father.
