Republicans Present Case Against Clinton
WASHINGTON - On a historic and fittingly dreary afternoon in the nation's capital, Republican congressmen acting as prosecutors Thursday launched their case in the impeachment trial of President William Jefferson Clinton, kicking off an uphill battle to convince two-thirds of U.S. senators that they should vote to remove Clinton from office for committing perjury and obstructing justice in the Monica Lewinsky affair.
