800 Sex-Abuse Convictions Face Reversal

LOS ANGELES - As many as 800 people convicted of child molestation under a California law allowing prosecution of long-ago sexual abuse charges are expected to have their convictions reversed following the U.S. Supreme Court's decision Thursday that the law violates the Ex Post Facto Clause of the U.S. Constitution.
