SACRAMENTO - Plaintiffs' lawyers may see a rare win this week in the long-running war over binding arbitration.
The state Legislature is expected to push through a bill that would block enforcement of binding arbitration agreements if the plaintiff claims to be a victim of a hate crime, including threats and intimidation. The law would most directly affect employment cases.
