SAN FRANCISCO - Like rival aces flinging heat, Joe Cotchett and John Keker unleashed their best pitches as they dueled over baseball's antitrust exemption Tuesday before a 9th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals panel.


At stake at the oral argument session was San Jose's wish to lure the Oakland Athletics south despite Major League Baseball's reliance on the exemption to forbid the move.
