Panel Says DA Jeopardized Defendant

LOS ANGELES - In a "highly disturbing" case, a state appellate panel has tentatively concluded that a Riverside prosecutor endangered a low-level drug defendant by forcing him to testify against a narcotics kingpin charged with a double murder, without letting him consult with his lawyer.
