Fighter for Field Hands Returns to Workers’ Side

Maurice "Mo" Jourdane, one of the California Rural Legal Assistance lawyers who got the notorious short-handled hoe banned from the state's agricultural fields, was hired two months ago to prosecute employers who take advantage of minimum-wage workers.
