Permanent Space Made for San Francisco City's Law Library

After eight years in crowded, temporary quarters at the War Memorial Building, the San Francisco Law Library has found a new home, a city-owned building at 525 Golden Gate Ave. The 310,000-volume collection could move there by 2005 if planning officials approve.
Supreme Court Justice Anthony Kennedy announced the long-awaited news Aug. 6 during a City Hall reception for law library supporters and bar association leaders....
