Unusual Allies Seek Review of Immigration Law

The U.S. Chamber of Commerce and the ACLU, among other groups, asked the U.S. Supreme Court to review an Arizona law requiring employers to use a federal pilot program to verify workers' immigration status.

Business and civil rights groups are asking the U.S. Supreme Court to review a controversial Arizona law that requires employers to use a federal pilot program to check workers' immigration status.

If the High Court agrees to hear the case it could have far-reaching implications because dozens of cities and states have adopted similar measures seeking to curb the flow of illegal workers.
