Manatt Fights Malpractice Claim

SAN FRANCISCO - If Manatt, Phelps & Phillips didn't adequately represent a class of retired National Football League players in a case against the players' union, U.S. District Judge William Alsup should not have approved a settlement in the case, an attorney for the firm told Alsup Thursday while arguing a motion to dismiss the players' malpractice case against the firm.
