Suit Says Recording Industry's Fees Squeeze Webcasters
The legal department of the Recording Industry Association of America is busy these days. After shutting down song-swapping networks such as Napster Inc., the business trade group last week filed hundreds of suits against individual music lovers, accusing them of illegally downloading and sharing songs on the Internet.
