Lack of Supply Drives Affordable Senior-Housing Demand Higher

Economic data show the majority of this population pays more than 30 percent of its income on rents or mortgages. Housing statistics reveal demand for affordable domiciles that seriously outstrips supply, a supply that is impaired by community resistance to affordable senior-housing projects.
