Davis Names Two To State Bar Board
LOS ANGELES - Gov. Gray Davis announced his appointment Wednesday of a doctor and a businessman to the State Bar Board of Governors. Davis named Dr. Thomas Haider of Riverside and Melvin D. Lee of San Francisco to the board. They join four other nonlawyers who represent the public, on the 23-member board.
