Blind Justice, Lady Luck

SAN FRANCISCO - At age 18, John Tennison appeared to be doomed to spend the rest of his life in prison. San Francisco prosecutors said that Tennison helped hunt down and kill a gang rival. Despite the fact that the prosecution's case rested solely on the conflicting testimony of two girls, one 12 and the other 14, a jury found Tennison guilty of first-degree murder.
