Firm is accused of intimidating city officials

Costa Mesa says Lackie, Dammeier, McGill & Ethir and a police union tried to influence labor talks by making a false DUI report against the mayor.

Attorneys with an Upland-based law firm that represents more law enforcement agencies than any other in the state say they plan to seek dismissal of an unusual lawsuit in which members of the Costa Mesa city council accuse the firm and others of intimidation and civil rights violations.
