9th Circuit gives freed murder convicts right to sue L.A. police
Two men convicted of murder but later freed after flaws in their prosecution emerged will get another chance to sue Los Angeles and two retired police detectives for putting them behind bars, a 9th Circuit panel ruled on Friday.

The only physical evidence against the men was a matchbook from an Indian restaurant one of the accused had in a pocket. He said he got it from a stranger...
