William Acevedo (right), an attorney with Wendel, Rosen, Black & Dean, was honored by the Legal Marketing Association on Thursday night for his contributions to marketing at the Oakland-based firm. Amanda Stipe, president of the LMA’s Bay Area chapter and a marketing manager with Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher, presented the award to Acevedo. The litigator, who leads Wendel Rosen’s green business practice group, works on art direction for the firm’s business development committee and spearheaded a business development coaching program. Acevado received one of 17 awards at LMA Bay Area’s annual awards ceremony, held last week at the Four Seasons Hotel in San Francisco.
