Court Excludes Front Pay From Damages Limit
WASHINGTON - Handing a major victory to sexual-harassment and other job-discrimination victims, the Supreme Court on Monday ruled unanimously that any "front pay" awarded plaintiffs under Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 is not subject to the act's $300,000 cap on compensatory damages.
