State Bar officials said Wednesday that the agency is expanding and accelerating its efforts to come into compliance with a law requiring it to be notified when attorneys are arrested.
The bar now plans to eventually receive arrest alerts from the California Department of Justice concerning both current and future licensed attorneys, a process that would involve re-fingerprinting active licensees...
