Adobe Systems scores defense win in patent trial

A Northern District of California federal jury has ruled in favor of Adobe Systems Inc., finding that the software company did not infringe on two patents.

A Northern District of California federal jury has ruled in favor of Adobe Systems Inc., finding that the software company did not infringe on two patents that control users' access to e-books, videos and other electronic content. The verdict is a loss for Digital Reg of Texas LLC, which sought $15.5 million in damages for the alleged infringement.
