District Attorney Steve Cooley presented three people with courageous citizen awards during a luncheon ceremony Friday at the California Club in downtown Los Angeles. Twelve-year-old Henry Cruz received the award for testifying against two men who murdered his father and sister. Pictured here, from left, are Cooley, Cruz's mother Micaela Estrada, Cruz and Deputy District Attorney Janis Johnson. The award also recognized Cruz's help in getting Estrada, who was shot during the attack, to testify.
