Lawyers Constance Rice and Molly Munger received the Human Dignity award Friday at the YMCA of Metropolitan Los Angeles' 39th annual Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Brotherhood Breakfast. Rice, center, and Munger, right, are co-directors of The Advancement Project, which has fought to improve public school districts. They successfully sued to to shift roughly $1 billion marked for affluent suburban school districts to build better schools in Los Angeles and other urban areas.
