Governor signs bill favoring tribal courts, but lone dissenter won in court

Gov. Jerry Brown has approved a bill ensuring that money judgments in tribal courts are enforceable in California courtrooms.

SACRAMENTO — Gov. Jerry Brown OK’d a bill ensuring that money judgments in tribal courts are enforceable in California state court.
