Government to require interviews for some green card holders

The government will begin requiring in-person interviews for certain green card applicants in order to comply with President Donald J. Trump’s travel ban executive order.

Immigration attorneys said the news was an unwelcome bureaucratic hurdle that would not markedly increase national security and was likely an intentional stumbling block to slow down legal immigration to the U.S.
