9th Circuit affirms former LA undersheriff’s obstruction of justice and conspiracy convictions
The 9th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals ruled Thursday that testimony regarding Paul Tanaka’s involvement in the Lynwood Vikings, a group of sheriff’s deputies alleged to have committed civil rights abuses against ethnic minorities, did not taint the fairness of his trial.
