Environmental groups drop challenges to new city in LA County

Conservation groups have agreed to withdraw litigation opposing the creation of a new city in one of the last undeveloped areas in Los Angeles County after developers agreed to leave several thousand acres of land untouched and spend $25 million to mitigate the development’s impact on endangered species.
