Dog advocates win battle against National Park Service

The National Park Service has announced that it was abandoning its plan to increase restrictions on dog walking in the Golden Gate National Recreation Area, a move that appears to be a reaction to a scandal in which committee members were having undisclosed conversations with proponents of tighter regulations on private email accounts.
