LA attorney sentenced to four years in marijuana criminal case

Los Angeles-based attorney Nathan Hoffman was sentenced to four years in federal prison on Tuesday for conspiring to grow and distribute marijuana.

SACRAMENTO — Los Angeles-based attorney Nathan Hoffman was sentenced to four years in federal prison on Tuesday for conspiring to grow and distribute marijuana.

As part of his plea deal, Hoffman has agreed to forfeit his law license. He must surrender in Los Angeles on Dec. 7 to begin serving his sentence.
