A convicted rapist will get a second chance at release due to a technicality, the 9th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals ruled Thursday.
Michael B. Williams, who was convicted on three counts of rape in 1991, successfully argued that he should get another crack at litigation he filed against Coalinga State Hospital, a high-security facility that houses sex predators and other convicts with mental health issues.
