A former State Bar executive assistant's whistleblower retaliation lawsuit against the agency is headed toward trial after a judge denied the bar's motion for summary judgment.
Sonja Oehler, who worked for former State Bar Executive Director Joseph L. Dunn, alleged she was terminated in 2014 for uncovering wrongdoing committed by former bar President Craig Holden and former Chief Trial Counsel Jayne Kim.
