Rivals clash over prenatal test patent claims in closing arguments

An attorney representing Ariosa Diagnostics Inc. told a federal jury Tuesday that his client is not infringing a rival’s patents on prenatal tests that detect genetic defects.

SAN FRANCISCO — An attorney representing Ariosa Diagnostics Inc. told a federal jury Tuesday that his client is not infringing a rival’s patents on prenatal tests that detect genetic defects.
