9th Circuit mulls long-running spat over ownership of 16th century painting

PASADENA -- For the third time in nine years, the 9th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals considered a long-running, complicated, foreign law dispute over twice-stolen, 16th century masterpiece paintings, which are now housed in a museum a mere quarter of a mile from the circuit's Southern California courthouse.
