Critics demand change to federal sex trafficking bill

The act, intended to stop traffickers, could have the opposite effect, according to critics.

A bill headed to the U.S. Senate that would allow criminal and civil action against web hosts found to knowingly facilitate sex trafficking is intended to stifle the practice. But critics of the bill say it would have the opposite effect.
