State-accredited school to launch innovative hybrid degree

The Santa Barbara & Ventura Colleges of Law’s program will feature 70 percent online learning and 30 percent in-person

Law schools are often criticized for failing to produce attorneys who possess the practical skills needed to excel in the workplace and accused of being slow to alter their curricula in response to changes in the legal market.

The Santa Barbara & Ventura Colleges of Law is hopeful a new degree it’s launching will directly address those critiques through an emphasis on experiential learning and extensive use of technology.
