Law school drops suit over competitor’s San Jose proposal

Lincoln Law School of San Jose had sought to block a competitor’s proposal to open a branch in the same city.

Lincoln Law School of San Jose has voluntarily dismissed its federal lawsuit seeking to block a fellow state-accredited school from opening a branch campus in the city.

The dismissal without prejudice last week came prior to the Committee of Bar Examiners' scheduled discussion Friday about whether to permit John F. Kennedy University College of Law to open a San Jose branch.
