LOS ANGELES -- Hours of deposition testimony by the head of the NCAA in a defamation trial kept circling back around to a few words: "They got it right."

That quote by NCAA President Mark Emmert to the media was in reference to the Committee on Infractions' decision to sanction the University of Southern California over a payment benefits scandal involving its former star running back, Reggie Bush.
