Uber will no longer arbitrate sex assault claims

The policy change, which applies retroactively, also extends to harassment claims.

Attorneys say Uber’s decision Tuesday to no longer enforce arbitration agreements in cases alleging sexual harassment and assault is either the first step in the right direction or the first step down a slippery slope.
