U.S. Supreme Court Justice Anthony Kennedy said he plans to occasionally sit as a visiting judge on federal appeals courts across the country after he assumes senior status next week.
ANAHEIM -- In one of his final public appearances as an active justice of the U.S. Supreme Court, Anthony Kennedy told audience members at the 9th Circuit Judicial Conference Thursday about his future plans as a part-time, traveling federal appeals judge and looked back on his storied career starting as a sole practitioner in small town Sacramento.
