A bill requiring certain businesses to keep records of sexual harassment allegations for at least five years after the accuser or the accused has left the company passed the Legislature on Tuesday and is headed to the governor.

AB 1867 requires employers with 50 or more employees to maintain such records five years after the last day of employment for either party, whichever occurs later.
