In a conversation on diversity in the legal profession Wednesday, U.S. Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg criticized the current Senate Supreme Court nomination hearing, comparing it to the process when she was nominated in 1993.

“The way it was was right, the way it is is wrong,” she said. “The atmosphere in ’93 was truly bipartisan.”
