As multidistrict litigation over the national opioid crisis proceeds in a Cleveland courtroom, a parallel case goes forward in California. Robinson is lead plaintiff attorney, retained by municipal entities Orange County, Los Angeles County and the City of Oakland to pursue claims of false advertising, public nuisance and unfair competition under state law. People of the State of California v. Purdue Pharma, 30-2014-00725287 (Orange Super. Ct., filed May 21, 2014).
