Significant increases in harassment charges by the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission in the past fiscal year, particularly sexual harassment, and a spike in recoveries from the ensuing lawsuits, are likely driven in part by the #MeToo movement and social climate, attorneys say.
According to a report released by the agency, it filed 66 workplace harassment lawsuits in the 2018 fiscal year, 41 of them sexual harassment cases...
