Supreme Court poised to limit cy pres settlements

The U.S. Supreme Court is poised to affect the future of controversial class action settlements in which little to no money is paid to class members, in a case where an attorney argued on his own behalf as an objector to such a settlement with Alphabet Inc.-owned Google.
