SANTA ANA -- The surprise arrival of two members of the Mongols motorcycle gang at a federal racketeering trial on Thursday prompted a heated discussion about jury intimidation with a judge rejecting a mistrial request while warning against the men's "extraordinarily prejudicial" behavior.

The Mongols' lawyer, Joseph A. Yanny, moved for a mistrial after jurors saw a court security officer ask one of the men to remove his sunglasses...
