Coffee industry intervenes in warning label case
The National Coffee Association was granted intervenor status Wednesday in a lawsuit against the state alleging lobbyists conspired with the government to thwart a superior court judge’s ruling that said acrylamide in coffee poses a cancer risk.

That case has since been stayed by the 2nd District Court of Appeal on the eve of the civil penalties phase of the trial, but Los Angeles County Superior Court Judge
