The marathon litigation dates back to 2014, when Nike subsidiary Converse Inc. claimed the Skechers "Twinkle Toes" shoe infringed the midsole trademark of the iconic Chuck Taylor line.
Skechers held its ground in early rounds, with findings by an administrative law judge and the International Trade Commission in its favor, but was subsequently hit with additional lawsuits from Nike over other alleged infringements in 2016 and 2017...
