ADR business has done well during court shutdowns

In an economy where many are hoping for “V-shaped recovery” several leading alternative dispute resolution companies have experienced something more like a checkmark — an initial drop followed by a surge above 2019 levels.

At the Consumer Attorneys of California annual convention, panelist Amy F. Solomon told the attendees something many of them already knew all too well.

"I certainly have seen an uptick, not only in mediations but arbitrations," said Solomon, a neutral with Judicate West.
