Inventors urge block of patent reviews until rulemaking process is completed
Despite claims that an injunction would bring an essential cog in the patent review system to a halt, U.S. Inventor argued that the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office’s failure to conduct a notice and comment period under procedural requirements to implement new rules led to ambiguity over when the agency has the discretionary authority to deny patent review.
